The difference in detail on Jupiter's methane bands is striking compared to my old filter. I can finally make out those subtle cloud structures I was missing before. Definitely worth the upgrade for planetary imaging.

I’ve been using this filter on my 8-inch scope, and the methane band really makes the equatorial bands on Saturn stand out like I’ve never seen before. It’s a bit pricey, but the difference in contrast on gas giants is worth it.

I was blown away by how clearly the methane bands on Jupiter's surface showed up after putting this filter on. It really isolates those absorption details in a way my standard UV/IR filters never could.
