The LRGB filter set is designed for maximum contrast and has extremely high gradients for clear differentiation of colors. The LRGB filter set divides the spectrum into Red, Green, Blue and Luminance (UV/IR cut). OIII emission overlaps on blue and green filters with maximum transmission to allow high efficiency and natural color imaging. The gap between green and red filters serves to block out the primary Sodium light pollution line at 589nm and improves color balance and separation.

WARNING: iOptron filters are not designed for direct solar observation. NEVER use these filters for observing or imaging the Sun, or permanent eye and equipment damage will result.

Lucy R. ★★★★★

Swapped out my old filters for these LRGB ones and immediately noticed sharper color separation in my nebula shots. The 1.25" size fit perfectly in my filter wheel, and the coating seems to cut down reflections nicely.

Ryan ★★★★★

The transmission curves on these filters really bring out subtle nebula details that my old set completely washed out. I finally got clean, separate layers in my M51 image after struggling for months.

Joshua O. ★★★★★

The color separation on these is noticeably crisp, and the coatings are clean without any haze. I’ve been getting much sharper blue channel data in my narrowband workflow.
