Green Moon Filter (TFE100)

Description

A moon filter reduces irradiation, glare, and excess image brightness in lunar observing. It also improves the contrast between lunar albedo features.
This green moon filter will screw directly into the barrel of most 1.25" eyepieces. Its green color cuts the glare of the brightly-lighted Moon and improves the contrast so it is easier for you to see faint details that might otherwise be washed out by the brightness of the lunar surface.

Emily D. ★★★★★

I was worried about glare ruining my lunar views, but this filter screws right into the eyepiece and really brings out the fine detail in the craters.

Edward Y. ★★★★★

The green tint really cuts through the moon's glare, making those subtle crater details pop out that I used to miss. It threads into my 1.25-inch eyepiece smoothly and definitely improves contrast between the light and dark areas on the lunar surface.

Hazel ★★★★★

The green tint really helps cut the glare around the terminator without washing out the subtle craters. Threaded onto my 1.25" eyepiece perfectly and stayed snug the whole session. I can finally see the lunar rays extending from Copernicus clearly.
