Star Adventurer Ball Head Adapter (S20550)

Finally got this to use my existing ball head with the tracker, and the 3/8” thread fit perfectly without any wobble. Setup took less than a minute, and now I’ve got a much more flexible astro rig for quick shots.

Really solid build quality here — the 3/8” threading felt precise when I screwed it in, and it held my heavy lens without any slipping during a long timelapse.

I was worried about wobble, but this adapter locks onto the Star Adventurer’s saddle solidly. The 3/8" thread gave my ball head a perfect fit without any adapter ring hassle.
