HEQ5 Mount (S30400)

Finally got it polar aligned last night and the 1.75" tripod legs made a huge difference in stability compared to my old mount. Tracking was rock-solid even with a bit of breeze, really impressed with the GoTo accuracy right out of the box.

Setup took a bit of fiddling, but once I got the GoTo alignment dialed in, it tracked a target smoothly for an entire imaging session without me touching a thing. The 1.75" tripod legs are rock solid even with a heavy scope and camera on top.

I was relieved how quickly the GoTo system slewed to my first target—much faster than my old mount. The 1.75" diameter legs feel solid even with a heavy scope on top. Setup was straightforward, just what I needed.
