Slapped this over my screen before heading out to a dark sky site, and it's a game-changer for keeping my night vision intact while tweaking camera settings. The gel is thin enough that the laptop lid still closes flat, and the red tint cuts glare without making text impossible to read.

The 17-inch size fits my laptop perfectly without any cutting, and it pairs nicely with my existing red light setup. I can actually see nebula details in my imaging software without losing my dark adaptation. This gel filter solved a problem I've been struggling with for months.

Finally a filter that actually blocks enough light to keep my night vision sharp while I'm out imaging. The gel material is thin enough that my laptop lid closes without any fuss.
