Description

Telescope drawtube extensions help your telescope reach focus when not using a diagonal — as is the case in many imaging applications. They are also useful (with or without diagonal) when you need more out-travel for focusing on nearby terrestrial subjects.

Our extension tubes slip into any telescope's 2" drawtube and include brass clamp rings to prevent marring of accessory barrels.

Choose from 2" or 3.5" in length.

Edward V. ★★★★★

Threaded these extension tubes into my imaging train and they locked tight with no play at all. The extra few inches let my camera sensor reach focus perfectly on the refractor. A simple solution that saved me from buying a whole new setup.

Finally got my camera to reach focus with the focal reducer, these tubes threaded on perfectly with no slop. The blackened interior seems to cut down reflections nicely.

I’ve been using these extension tubes to get my planetary camera to focus without a diagonal, and the threads are smooth enough that I didn’t have to fight with alignment. The only tiny nitpick is that the inner surface could be a bit more matte to reduce reflections.
