I was blown away by how much more of the sky I could see compared to my old 50-degree eyepiece—this 82-degree field is a game changer for tracking objects manually. The wide view makes star hopping so much easier.

Switching from a 50-degree eyepiece to this 82-degree one, I can now take in entire star clusters without nudging my mount. The image stays sharp nearly to the edge, which makes sweeping the Milky Way feel much more immersive. Definitely worth the upgrade for anyone using a manual alt-az setup.

The 82-degree apparent field is a game changer for sweeping star fields, and the eye relief is generous enough for me to keep my glasses on. I finally saw the entire Veil Nebula complex in one view through my 8-inch Dob, which was a first.
