10" Classical Dobsonian (S11620)

The 10-inch aperture really pulls in the light on deep-sky objects, and the Dobsonian base is rock solid with no wobble. I was surprised how easy it is to track Jupiter’s moons even at 120x magnification.

I had this telescope set up in under 20 minutes, and the 120mm focal length made it easy to track objects across the sky. The Dobsonian design is surprisingly stable even with the 10-inch aperture, so views of the moon and Jupiter were crisp and clear.

The 10-inch mirror gathers so much light that I can finally see the Orion Nebula's core clearly from my backyard. Even the moon's craters look crisp and detailed at medium magnification. Setup was straightforward and the tube rotates smoothly in its cradle.
