Sidara Plus 150

First clear night out and the 150mm mirror pulled in Saturn’s rings with zero fuss, even from my light-polluted backyard. The whole rig broke down and fit in a duffel bag in under five minutes, which is exactly what I needed for quick trips.

The Nano mount keeps the whole rig light enough that I can carry it to my backyard in one trip, and the 150mm mirror pulls in plenty of detail on the moon. Only gripe is the focuser feels a bit stiff at first, but it smooths out after a few nights of use.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much light the 150mm mirror pulls in even under suburban skies, making faint fuzzies like the Orion Nebula pop. The mount holds steady enough for medium-magnification viewing, though I wish the included eyepiece was a bit sharper.
