I was skeptical about how much difference a filter could make, but the balanced color across the visible spectrum is really impressive—my night shots look natural instead of that sickly yellow. It handles vapor lamp sources better than I expected, and the image clarity is noticeably improved.

The metal-halide blocking is no joke—my city shots finally show stars instead of that sickly orange glow. Colors on the Milky Way core still look natural, too, which surprised me.

Shot some night sky panoramas in a downtown area and this filter cut the ugly orange glow from streetlamps without washing out the Milky Way. The color balance on the visible spectrum stayed surprisingly natural, which is exactly what I needed.
