80mm Refractor (8710)

The fully multi-coated optics really do make a difference—Jupiter's bands were crisp and clear even in my light-polluted backyard. It's light enough that I can carry it to the park without a second thought.

The fully multi-coated optics on this 80mm make a real difference—Jupiter's bands looked much sharper through it than through my old scope. It’s light enough to easily carry out to my dark-sky spot, too.

I brought this refractor on a camping trip and was surprised how easy it was to set up in the dark—the tube is compact enough to fit in my backpack. Jupiter's bands and four moons came through crisp, even from a modestly light-polluted site.
