The TGSO Solar Observing Hood

Installed this hood on my telescope in under a minute, and the solar material on the outside really does keep things cooler than my old setup. The black inner liner blocks stray light completely, making sunspot details pop.

I’ve been using this hood on sunny afternoons and the dual-layer design really keeps the inside from heating up, which was my biggest worry. The black inner liner blocks all the light, so I can focus on the telescope without any glare.
