Our Take

This is a great accessory for balancing binocular viewers!

Description

Designed for the Tele Vue TV-76 and TV-85, the plate simply attaches to the mount ring with the provided screws and moves the balance point about 2½" forward. This helps balance the scope with heavy eyepieces and accessories. Hardware is provided for attachment on Tele Vue Tele Pod-style mounts or on photo tripods.

Isabella ★★★★★

The plate attaches cleanly to my mount ring with the provided screws, and the extra weight really steadies the view with my binocular viewer. It’s a simple fix that makes a noticeable difference in stability.

Sebastian ★★★★★

The screws lined up perfectly with my mount ring, so installation took under two minutes. This little plate finally keeps my binocular viewer from dragging the tube down, and it feels rock-solid once tightened.

Richard Y. ★★★★★

Was a bit skeptical about needing this, but the included screws made mounting to the TV-76 ring effortless. Binocular viewer no longer sags or shifts during a session.
