Description

Stellarvue dual hinged rings for our 130 mm refractors. Used on our SV/SVA130 refractors, these rings work with 5.5" O.D. tubes. They are not sized for other brands telescopes. The rings have five 1/4-20 threaded holes top and bottom. This includes a center hole, two holes that are 1.5” apart and two holes that are 60 mm apart.

The dual hinge design is what sold me, it makes swapping the scope between mounts a two-minute job instead of a wrestling match. The machining is smooth and the rings lock down solid without any flex, exactly what you want for a 130mm tube.

The dual hinges make sliding the rings open and closed a breeze, and the fit on my 5.5" tube is perfectly snug with zero wobble. Took me a couple minutes to align everything, but once set, the scope stays rock solid even when I bump the focuser.
