The machining on this dovetail is spot-on—it mates with the Versa-Plate flawlessly and the CDK17 sits rock-solid with zero play. I’ve had it out on three clear nights now and it’s been a huge relief not to worry about the mount side of the imaging train.

Switching from a generic dovetail to this MEII version made dialing in the alignment noticeably easier, and the machining on the plate itself feels rock-solid. It's a straightforward upgrade that delivers exactly what it promises.

Finally got the large dovetail mounted on my Versa-Plate and it made attaching the CDK dovetail rock-solid. The fit is precise and I feel much more confident hauling the heavy scope around. It was exactly the upgrade I needed for stability.
