Category: Astrophotography Accessories

Description

This filter step ring is made specifically with the Starizona Filter Slider system in mind. It steps the M48 threads of a standard 2" filter down to a 31mm unmounted filter holder. There are nylon retaining screws to hold the filter in place. The step ring has a 2" outside diameter, so it can also be used in many other applications in addition to the Filter Slider.

Harper ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

I was worried about light leakage with the step down, but this threads on perfectly snug to my slider. The M48 to 31mm conversion is exactly what I needed for my narrowband setup.

Lily I. ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

Finally, an adapter that holds my 31mm filters snugly without any wobble. The M48 threads on this ring engaged smoothly with my filter slider, making setup a breeze.

Benjamin ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

Threaded perfectly into my Starizona slider without any wobble or play, which was a relief. The anodized finish also feels more durable than the cheap step rings I've used before.
