Description

Canon EOS cameras are popular with astro-imaging enthusiasts. But, the typical T-ring / telescope setup does not take advantage of the wide aperture of the Canon bayonet mount: significant vignetting is caused by the constriction of the T-ring opening. Canon Wide T Adapter with Bayonet for 2.4" connects to your EOS in place of the T-ring and provides 25% greater aperture to minimize vignetting

The bayonet connection locked onto my camera body with zero play, which made a huge difference in keeping my deep-sky exposures sharp. I set it up with my scope and got noticeably better corner illumination compared to my old T-ring setup.

I was a bit skeptical about the adapter's bayonet mount making a difference for my astrophotography, but the significantly wider aperture compared to my old T-ring setup really lets in more light during deep-sky shots. It feels solidly built too, which is a relief when you're handling it in the dark
