Description

Our 2.7" Field Flattener (13027FF-EDFS) was introduced in February 2022 for our legacy 130 f6 Starfire EDFS scopes that were produced from 1995-2001 in order to provide optimum performance with modern cameras.  It can be coupled to a variety of different DSLR and CCD cameras for truly superb images.

If you have the 130 f/6.3 StarFire GTX or GT with 3.5" focuser, consider the 13035FF.  If you own a 130 f/6.3 StarFire GT with a 2.7" focuser, order the 67PF562.

The backfocus spacing for these flatteners (as measured from the rear flange) is 86.4 mm +/- 2 mm.

The bayonet male thread size at the rear is 3.725" x 24.

Use the bayonet locking ring to secure your camera into position after you have framed your image. This allows you to rotate the camera to achieve your desired composition.

Includes:
Two beautifully machined and black anodized covers.

Applications:

35 mm SLR or DSLR Camera - For full frame Canon and Nikon DSLR's, we offer the Large 1.875" diameter SLR Adapter with Canon EOS (67RLEOS) and Nikon (67RLNIK) Bayonets .

CCD Camera - Review the Field Flatteners, TCCs & QUADTCC Imaging Train Options .

Hannah ★★★★★

The stars are finally round all the way to the edges on my 1998 f6 scope, and the threads matched perfectly for a clean, solid lock-up. This is the exact accessory that old Starfire has been waiting for, and setup took me under five minutes.

Madison ★★★★★

Finally, a dedicated flattener for my old f6 EDFS that doesn't require adapters or guesswork. The 2.7" aperture really seems to clean up the star shapes right to the corners of my full-frame sensor.

Robert ★★★★★

I was worried about finding a flattener for my older f6 Starfire, but this one fits perfectly and cleaned up the stars right to the edge of the frame. The 2.7" aperture really makes a difference with the full-frame camera I'm using now.
