OPTEC-3000-S-M48x0.75mm (19958)

My SCT back plate has M48 threads and this adapter mates perfectly with it, making setup much more stable than my old T-ring arrangement. The short dovetail profile keeps the whole train nice and compact.

The M48 thread on this adapter is cut cleanly—no wobble or cross-threading when I attached my filter wheel. It’s short enough to keep the optical train compact, which helps with balance on my mount.

Finally, an adapter that threads on smoothly instead of fighting you the whole way, and the short 3-inch length keeps my setup nice and compact on the rig. The female M48 thread seats perfectly against my field flattener with zero play, which is exactly what I needed for a clean backfocus distance.
