The pulsing really does cut down eye strain after a few hours at the eyepiece—the reticle stays crisp against faint stars without that harsh glow. It’s a subtle but noticeable improvement for guiding accuracy.

I was skeptical at first, but the pulsed illumination genuinely makes faint guide stars pop out against the dark background—my eyes feel far less strained after a two-hour session. The contrast improvement alone is worth it for anyone doing precise autoguiding.
