The 7-inch length is perfect for getting my camera up over crowds, and the 100mm radius means I don’t have to fiddle with leveling as much as I expected. It’s solid and heavy enough that I trust it on uneven ground, though the weight is noticeable in my bag.

Put my camera just where I needed it for a low-angle macro shot, and that 2.4-pound build kept everything rock steady. The 7-inch tube gave me enough reach without feeling too bulky to pack.

The 7-inch length is perfect for getting just the right camera height without making the setup top-heavy. I've been using it for low-angle nature shots and the 3.9-inch radius gives a surprisingly stable base.
