I was a bit worried about chromatic aberration, but the Sloan-g filter’s AR coating on both sides really keeps reflections minimal. It threaded perfectly into my filter wheel and the data looks clean.

The Sloan-u filter cut through the light pollution in my suburban backyard surprisingly well, letting me capture faint nebulae I'd struggled with before. The coatings are noticeably clean and free of reflections, even with a bright moon nearby.

I mounted the Sloan-g filter last night and the difference in galaxy detail versus my old broadband filter is immediately obvious. The coatings are clean and the substrate seems well annealed—no internal reflections even with a bright Moon nearby.
