New ASI533MM Pro - Open Box

For the price of an open box, getting a mono astro camera with the IMX533 sensor feels like stealing. The low read noise on this sensor made my first light image noticeably cleaner than my old DSLR.

The open box discount was hard to ignore, and the sensor is spotless with no dead pixels. Cooling this monochrome camera to -10°C takes under a minute, which made my first imaging session smooth.

Even though it's open box, the camera body looks pristine and the USB 3.0 port feels solid. I wish the packaging had included a dust cap, but the sensor itself seems clean and ready for first light.
