MASUYAMA 1.25″ Barlow Lenses

Compared to my old generic barlow, the fully multi-coated optics on this one give noticeably brighter and sharper views of Jupiter’s bands. The 1.5x setting is perfect for getting more detail without sacrificing too much eye relief. It’s a solid upgrade that feels well-built in the hand.

The 1.5x doublet design keeps stars crisp right to the edge of my eyepiece, which is exactly what I hoped for. Fully multi-coated too, so contrast on Jupiter's bands was noticeably clean even at higher power.
