Illuminator for Reticle Eyepieces (EI002)

The variable brightness dial is perfect for dialing in just the right amount of light without washing out fainter stars. Screwed right into my finderscope eyepiece with no issues, and now I can actually use the crosshair on moonless nights.

Finally, I can actually see the crosshairs on my finderscope during a dark sky session. The variable brightness control lets me dial it down just enough so it doesn't wash out the stars.

The threads on this illuminator fit perfectly into my eyepiece and the red LED is bright enough to see the crosshairs without washing out the stars. Makes nighttime alignment so much easier.
