CGEM Counterweight 11lbs (94203)

I was worried my CGEM mount would struggle with a heavy eyepiece setup, but this 11lb counterweight balances it perfectly. The threaded steel rod makes it simple to screw on and adjust.

I was a bit worried about balancing my EdgeHD, but this 11lb weight slides on smoothly and holds steady even in a light breeze. The metal finish feels solid and the threaded knob tightens securely without any wobble.

Upgraded the mount with this 11lb counterweight and the balance is spot-on for my CGEM. It’s easier to handle than the heavier 17lb option I was considering, and the install was straightforward. My goto star imaging sessions have been noticeably steadier ever since.
