CCD Adapter, Apogee to PlaneWave SecureFit

The SecureFit design made installation on my PlaneWave CDK straightforward, and the bolts lined up perfectly with the Apogee Alta body. I've had zero flexure issues during long exposures, which is exactly what I needed for reliable astrophotography sessions.

The threads on this adapter matched perfectly with both my camera and the SecureFit spacer, no wobble at all. Setup took under five minutes, and now everything feels solidly locked in place for long exposures.

I was relieved to find how securely this adapter mates the Apogee camera to the PlaneWave telescope, with zero wobble. The precise machining made the threaded connection effortless, and the entire imaging train felt rock-solid during my first session.
