Adjustable AZ/EQ Base

The adjustment knobs have just the right amount of resistance, making small tweaks during polar alignment feel precise and controlled. It’s held my mount steady even when I accidentally bumped the tripod leg.

Finally, I can fine-tune polar alignment without loosening everything and starting over — the base lets me tweak it while the mount stays solid on the tripod. The anodized metal feels sturdy enough for my DSLR rig, and the locking mechanism holds position perfectly once I'm set.

This base makes polar alignment much easier since you can tweak the azimuth without lifting the whole mount. The adjustment is smooth and precise, though it took a bit of practice to get the hang of the fine-tuning. A solid upgrade if you're tired of struggling with alignment.
