#38A Dark Blue Filter

The glass clarity is noticeably better than my old filter—Jupiter's bands popped with more detail last night. I love how the deep blue really tames the glare on the moon, making craters stand out sharply.

I’ve been using this dark blue filter on my telescope for a few nights now, and it really sharpens the contrast on Jupiter’s bands. The Schott glass feels solid and well-made. Definitely a step up from the cheap plastic filters I’ve tried before.

I was skeptical a colored filter could make much difference, but this #38A really brings out the cloud bands on Jupiter through my telescope. The Schott optical glass feels solid and well-made.
